Ibn Hibban narrated it in his Sahih (436) from Hasan bin Sufyan (that is, Fasawi), who said, Muhammad bin Bashshar told us, Abu Ahmad Zubayri told us, Sufyan (that is, Thawri) told us, from Sulayman Taymi, from Qatada, from Anas, who said, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abu Ahmad Zubayri, who is Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr. He used to memorize the book of Sufyan Thawri, and for this reason it was said of him that he was among the most retentive of Thawri's companions. However, Imam Ahmad said, "He made many mistakes in Sufyan's hadith." Perhaps this was early in his career, and he later mastered it, for Imam Ahmad also said, "He is dearer to me than Muawiya bin Hisham and Zayd bin Hubab when it comes to Sufyan." The rest of its narrators are trustworthy.
