The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever restrains his anger when he has the power to act on it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection and let him choose whichever of the Hur al-Ayn he wishes."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: من كظم غيظا وهو قادر على أن ينفذه، دعاه الله عز وجل على رؤوس الخلائق يوم القيامة حتى يخيره الله من الحور العين ما شاء.
Reported by Abu Dawud (4777), Tirmidhi (2021, 2493), and Ibn Majah (4186), all of them through the route of Saeed bin Abu Ayub, from Abu Marhum, from Sahl bin Muaz bin Anas Juhani, from his father, who said, and then he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdul-Rahim bin Maymun and Sahl bin Muaz, for their hadiths are graded hasan. Tirmidhi also graded it hasan, saying, "This is a hasan gharib hadith."
