The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You who have believed with your tongues while faith has not yet entered your hearts, do not backbite the Muslims, and do not seek out their faults. Whoever seeks out their faults, Allah will seek out his faults, and whoever has his faults sought out by Allah will be exposed by Him even within his own home."
Reported by Abu Dawud (4880), Ahmad (19776), and Bayhaqi in al-Adab (137), all of them through the hadith of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, from Amash, from Saeed bin Abdullah bin Jurayj, from Abu Barza Aslami, who said, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, for his hadith is hasan.
