Urwa reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three things about which I swear an oath. Allah will not place one who has a share in Islam on the same level as one who has no share. The shares of Islam are three, fasting, prayer, and charity. Allah does not take a servant under His care in this world only to hand him over to someone else on the Day of Resurrection. And no man loves a people except that he will come with them on the Day of Resurrection. As for the fourth, if I were to swear an oath upon it, I would not fear that I had sinned. Allah does not conceal the faults of His servant in this world without also concealing them for him in the Hereafter."Umar bin Abd al-Aziz said, "When you hear something like this from someone like Urwa, commit it to memory."
(From the hadith of Ibn Masud) Abu Yaala (4566) narrated it from Hudba bin Khalid, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha, from Shayba Khudri, that he witnessed Urwa narrating to Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, from Ayesha, from the Prophet ﷺ, and he related the hadith. Then Abu Yaala (4567) said, Ishaq (that is, Ibn Abdullah bin Abu Talha) said, Abdullah bin Utba bin Masud narrated to me, from Ibn Masud, from the Prophet ﷺ, similarly. This is connected to the first chain, except that he did not give the wording of the hadith, but instead referred back to the wording of the hadith of Ayesha. In the chain of the hadith of Ayesha is Shayba Khudri, from whom no one narrated except Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha, and no one deemed him reliable except Ibn Hibban, who mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators. The chain of the hadith of Abdullah bin Masud is sahih, and for that reason I placed this hadith among those attributed to his musnad.
