She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Prophet of Allah, I have nothing of my own except what Zubayr brings into the house. Is there any blame on me if I give a little from what he brings in?"He replied, "Give whatever you can, and do not hoard, lest Allah withhold from you."
أنها جاءت النبي ﷺ، فقالت: يا نبي الله، ليس لي شيء إلا ما أدخل علي الزبير فهل علي جناح أن أرضخ مما يدخل علي؟ فقال: ارضخي ما استطعت، ولا توعي فيوعي الله عليك.
Bukhari narrated it in zakat (1434), and Muslim in zakat (1029: 89), both from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, "Ibn Abu Mulayka informed me, that Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr informed him, from Asma bint Abu Bakr," and he mentioned it.
