Ayesha reported,

Rifa Qurazi divorced his wife with an irrevocable divorce, after which Abdul-Rahman bin Zubayr married her. She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I was with Rifa and he gave me the last of three divorces. Then Abdul-Rahman bin Zubayr married me, but by Allah, Messenger of Allah, all he has is like this fringe," holding up a fringe she had taken from her garment.Abu Bakr was sitting beside the Prophet ﷺ, and Ibn Saeed bin As was seated at the door of the chamber waiting to be granted permission to enter. Khalid began calling out to Abu Bakr, "Abu Bakr, will you not rebuke this woman for what she is openly saying before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did nothing more than smile.Then he said, "Perhaps you wish to return to Rifa? No, not until you taste his sweetness and he tastes yours."

أن رفاعة القرظي طلق امرأته فبت طلاقها، فتزوجها بعده عبد الرحمن بن الزبير، فجاءت النبي ﷺ فقالت: يا رسول الله، إنها كانت عند رفاعة فطلقها آخر ثلاث تطليقات، فتزوجها بعده عبد الرحمن بن الزبير، وإنه والله ما معه يا رسول الله إلا مثل هذه الهدبة، لهدبة أخذتها من جلبابها، قال: وأبو بكر جالس عند النبي ﷺ، وابن سعيد بن العاص جالس بباب الحجرة ليؤذن له، فطفق خالد ينادي أبا بكر: يا أبا بكر، ألا تزجر هذه عما تجهر به عند رسول الله ﷺ، وما يزيد رسول الله ﷺ على التبسم، ثم قال: لعلك تريدين أن ترجعي إلى رفاعة، لا حتى تذوقي عسيلته، ويذوق عسيلتك.
