Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on Riqaq (6440), saying, Abu Walid said to us, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, from Ubayy bin Kaab, and he related it.His statement "said to us" carries the ruling of a connected chain, because Abu Walid is among his teachers.Ubayy's statement, "This is from the Quran," refers to the hadith of Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the son of Adam had a valley of gold, he would love to have two valleys, and nothing will fill his mouth except dust, and Allah forgives whoever repents."
