I came to Ibn Abbas while he was drawing water from Zamzam, and the lower part of his garment had become wet. I said to him, "People have begun speaking about divine decree."He asked, "Have they really done so?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "By Allah, this verse was revealed about none but them, 'Taste the touch of Hell. Indeed, We have created everything by decree' [Qamar 54:48–49]. Those people are the worst of this nation. Do not visit their sick, and do not pray over their dead. If you ever show me one of them, I will gouge out his eyes with these two fingers of mine."

Ibn Abu Hatim narrated it, as Ibn Kathir mentioned in his Tafsir, and Lalikai in Sharh Usul al-Itiqad (948), and Bayhaqi in al-Kubra (10/205), all of them through the route of Marwan bin Shuja al-Jazari, from Abdul-Malik bin Jurayj, from Ata bin Abu Rabah, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Marwan bin Shuja al-Jazari, for his hadith is hasan.
