The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "During my ascension, I passed by a people who had copper nails with which they were scratching their faces and chests. I asked, 'Who are these, Jibreel?'He replied, 'These are the ones who consume the flesh of people and attack their honor.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لما عرج بي مررت بقوم لهم أظفار من نحاس يخمشون بها وجوههم وصدورهم، فقلت: من هؤلاء يا جبريل؟ قال: هؤلاء الذين يأكلون لحوم الناس، ويقعون في أعراضهم.
Abu Dawud (4878/1) and Ahmad (13340) both narrated it through the route of Abu Mughira Khawlani, who said, Safwan Saksaki reported to us, who said, Rashid bin Saad and Abdul-Rahman bin Jubayr reported to me, from Anas bin Malik, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
