He said that when this surah was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "You are to die, and they are to die. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will dispute before your Lord" [Zumar 39:30–31], Zubayr asked, "Messenger of Allah, will the quarrels we had among ourselves in this world be brought up against us again, along with our private sins?"He replied, "Yes, they will certainly be brought up against you, until every rightful claimant is given his due."Zubayr said, "By Allah, this is a grave matter indeed."
Ahmad (1434), Bazzar (964), Abu Yaala (668), and Hakim (2/435) all narrated it through the route of Muhammad bin Amr, from Yahya bin Abdul-Rahman bin Hatib, from Abdullah bin Zubayr, from Zubayr bin Awwam, who said, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is Ibn Alqama, for his hadith is hasan.
