The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Soon the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he takes to the mountain peaks and places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from trials."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يوشك أن يكون خير مال المسلم غنم يتبع بها شعف الجبال، ومواقع القطر، يفر بدينه من الفتن.
Malik narrated it in "Seeking Permission" (16), from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Sasaa, from his father, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he related the hadith. Bukhari narrated it in "Faith" (19), from Abdullah bin Maslama, from Malik, with the same chain, similarly.
