Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

It was a vision seen with the eyes, shown to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night he was taken to Bayt al-Maqdis.Regarding "and the accursed tree in the Quran" [Isra 17:60], he said, "It is the tree of Zaqqum."

في قوله تعالى: {وما جعلنا الرؤيا يا التي أرينك إلا فتنة للناس}

عن ابن عباس قال

هي رؤيا عين، أريها رسول الله ﷺ ليلة أسرى به إلى بيت المقدس. قال: {والشجرة الملعونة في القرءان} قال: هي شجرة الزقوم.
