The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah caused those before us to stray from Friday. The Jews had Saturday, and the Christians had Sunday. Then Allah brought us and guided us to Friday, so He made the order Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In the same way, they will follow behind us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last of the people of this world but the first on the Day of Resurrection, the ones whose case will be decided before all creation."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أضل الله عن الجمعة من كان قبلنا، فكان لليهود يوم السبت، وكان للنصارى يوم الأحد، فجاء الله بنا، فهدانا الله ليوم الجمعة، فجعل الجمعة والسبت والأحد، وكذلك هم تبع لنا يوم القيامة، نحن الآخرون من أهل الدنيا والأولون يوم القيامة، المقضي لهم قبل الخلائق.
Reported by Muslim in the chapter on Friday prayer (856) through several routes from Ibn Fudayl, from Abu Malik Ashjai, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and from Rabi bin Harash, from Huzaifa, both of whom said, and then he mentioned it.
