The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey from me even a single verse. Narrate from the Children of Israil, there is no harm in it. But whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: بلغوا عني ولو آية، وحدثوا عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج، ومن كذب علي متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the Hadiths of the Prophets (3461) from Abu Asim Dahhak bin Mukhlid, who said, Uzai informed us, Hassan bin Atiya narrated to us, from Abu Kabsha, from Abdullah bin Amr, who said, and he mentioned the hadith.
