I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever attributes to me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire."
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: من يقل علي ما لم أقل فليتبوأ مقعده من النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Knowledge (109), from Makki bin Ibrahim, who said, Yazid bin Abu Ubayd narrated to us, from Salama, and he mentioned it.
