"Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day do not ask your permission" was abrogated by the verse in Surah an-Nur, "The believers are only those who believe in Allah" up to His saying "Forgiving, Merciful" [Nur 24:62].
{لا يستذنك الذين يؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر} نسختها التي في سوررة النور: {إنما المؤمنون الذين ءامنوا بالله} إلى قوله {غفور رحيم} [سورة النور: ٦٢].
Abu Dawud (2771) reported it, and from his route Bayhaqi (9/173–174), from Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Thabit Marwazi, who said, my father told me, from Ali bin Husayn, from his father, from Yazid Nahwi, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Ali bin Husayn bin Waqid Marwazi and his father, for the two of them are of hasan grade regarding hadith.
