The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has guaranteed for the one who goes out to fight in His path, with nothing driving him from his home except striving in His cause and belief in His words, that He will either admit him into Paradise or return him to his home with whatever reward or spoils he has gained."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: تكفل الله لمن جاهد في سبيله، لا يخرجه من بيته إلا الجهاد في سبيله، وتصديق كلماته أن يدخله الجنة، أو يرده إلى مسكنه بما نال من أجر أو غنيمة.
Malik narrated it in jihad (974) from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. Bukhari narrated it in tawhid (7463) via Malik with the same chain. Muslim narrated it in leadership (1876:104) through another route from Abu Zinad with the same chain.
