I heard the Messenger of Allah say, "Night and day shall not pass away until al-Lat and al-Uzza are worshipped once again."I said, "Messenger of Allah, when Allah revealed 'It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists detest it' [Saff 61:9], I thought that this promise was complete and final."He replied, "Indeed, what Allah wills of that promise will surely come to pass. Then Allah will send a pleasant wind that will take the soul of everyone in whose heart there is even a mustard seed's weight of faith. Only those with no good in them will remain, and they will return to the religion of their forefathers."
سمعت رسول الله يقول: لا يذهب الليل والنهار حتى تعبد اللات والعزى. فقلت: يا رسول الله! إن كنت لأظن حين أنزل الله: {هو الذى أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون} أن ذلك تاما. قال: إنه سيكون من ذلك ما شاء الله، ثم يبعث الله ريحا طيبة، فيتوفى كل من في قلبه مثقال حبة خردل من إيمان، فيبقى من لا خير فيه، فيرجعون إلى دين آبائهم.
