The Prophet ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise will see those in the lofty chambers above them just as you see a brilliant star fading on the horizon in the east or the west, due to the difference in rank between them."They said, "Messenger of Allah, those are the dwellings of the prophets, which none other than them can reach."He replied, "Yes indeed, by the One in whose hand is my soul, Some men who believed in Allah and affirmed the messengers."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: إن أهل الجنة يتراءون أهل الغرف من فوقهم، كما تتراءون الكوكب الدري الغابر من الأفق من المشرق أو المغرب لتفاضل ما بينهم. قالوا: يا رسول الله، تلك منازل الأنبياء، لا يبلغها غيرهم. قال: بلى والذي نفسي بيده، رجال آمنوا بالله وصدقوا المرسلين.
Bukhari related it in the Beginning of Creation (3256), and Muslim in Paradise, Its Description of Bliss, and Its People (2831), both through the route of Malik bin Anas, from Safwan bin Salim, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who mentioned it. Yahya bin Yahya did not mention it in his Muwatta.
