Anas bin Malik reported,

He said, "I was the cupbearer of the people at the house of Abu Talha, and their wine that day was made from unripe dates. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded a caller to announce, 'Indeed, wine has been forbidden.'"He continued, "Abu Talha said to me, 'Go out and pour it away.' So I went out and poured it out, and it flowed through the streets of Medina."Some of the people said, "Some have died with it still in their bellies." Then Allah revealed, "There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten" [Maidah 5:93], the rest of the verse.
