The Prophet ﷺ said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise, and most of those who entered it were the poor, while the wealthy were held back, except that the people of the Fire had already been ordered to the Fire. And I stood at the gate of the Fire, and most of those who entered it were women."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: قمت على باب الجنة فكان عامة من دخلها المساكين، وأصحاب الجد محبوسون، غير أن أصحاب النار، قد أمر بهم إلى النار، وقمت على باب النار، فإذا عامة من دخلها النساء.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5196) and Muslim in the Book of Softening of Hearts (2736), both via Sulayman Taymi, from Abu Uthman, from Usama, who said, then he related it. The wording given here is Bukhari's, and Muslim's wording is similar.
