The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most hated of men to Allah is the obstinate adversary."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن أبغض الرجال إلى الله الألد الخصم.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4523) and Muslim in the knowledge (2668), both from the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abu Mulayka, from Ayesha, who mentioned it.His saying, "aladd," means intensely quarrelsome. His saying, "al-khasm," means one skilled in disputation. What is condemned is disputing falsely, whether to repel a right or to establish a falsehood.
