Abdul-Rahman bin Yamar reported,

I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing at Arafah when some people from Najd came to him and asked, "Messenger of Allah, how is the Hajj performed?"He replied, "Hajj is Arafah. Whoever arrives before the dawn prayer on the night of Jam has completed his Hajj. The days of Mina are three days. 'Whoever hastens to leave in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him' [Baqarah 2:203]."Then he had a man ride behind him and instructed him to call out these words.
