The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "O Allah, our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
كان النبي ﷺ يقول: اللهم ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة، وفي الآخرة حسنة، وقنا عذاب النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir (4522) from Abu Muamar, who said, Abdul-Warith narrated to us, from Abdul-Aziz, from Anas, who said, and he mentioned it.He also narrated it in the supplications (6389) from Musaddad, who said, Abdul-Warith narrated to us with his chain of transmission, saying, the most frequent supplication of the Prophet ﷺ was, "O Allah, our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."Muslim narrated it in the remembrance (2690) from Zuhayr bin Harb, who said, Ismail, meaning Ibn Ulaya, narrated to us, from Abdul-Aziz, who is Ibn Suhayb, who said, Qatada asked Anas, "Which supplication did the Prophet ﷺ make most often?" He said, the supplication he made most often was, he would say, "O Allah, our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
