The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said regarding the words of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, "so there is no sexual relations, nor wickedness, nor disputing during Hajj" [Baqarah 2:197], "Rafath means lewd speech and approaching women for intercourse. Fusuq means all acts of disobedience. And jidal means a man quarreling with his companion."
قال رسول الله ﷺ في قول الله عز و جل: {فلا رفث ولا فسوق ولا جدال في الحج} قال: الرفث الاعرابة والتعرض للنساء بالجماع، والفسوق المعاصي كلها، والجدال جدال الرجل صاحبه.

Tabarani related it in Kabir (22/11) from Yahya bin Uthman bin Salih, who said, "Sawwar bin Muhammad bin Quraysh Anbari Basri narrated to us, Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, Rawh bin Qasim narrated to us, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, from Ibn Abbas," and he related the hadith.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Tabarani's teacher, Yahya bin Uthman, and his teacher, Sawwar bin Muhammad, for both of them render the hadith hasan. Yahya bin Uthman has been criticized in ways that do not require rejecting his hadith, and so Dhahabi said, "Truthful, Allah willing." Haythami said in Majma (6/318), "Both of them show some laxity but have been deemed reliable, and the rest of its narrators are narrators of the Sahih."The words of Allah Almighty, "Take provisions, but indeed the best provision is righteousness" [Baqarah 2:197].
