Imran bin Husayn reported,

The verse permitting temporary marriage was revealed in the Book of Allah, and we practiced it during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. No Quranic verse was revealed forbidding it, nor did he prohibit it until he died. Then a man expressed whatever opinion he wished.

عن عمران بن حصين قال

أنزلت آية المتعة في كتاب الله، ففعلناها مع رسول الله ﷺ، ولم ينزل قرآن يحرمه، ولم ينه عنها حتى مات، قال رجل برأيه ما شاء.

His saying, "And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah. But if you are prevented, then offer what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal has reached its place of slaughter. And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head, then a fidya of fasting or charity or sacrifice. And when you are secure, then whoever performs Umrah followed by Hajj, offer what can be obtained with ease of sacrificial animals. And whoever cannot find one, then a fast of three days during the Hajj and seven when you return, those are ten complete days. That is for those whose family is not present at Masjid al-Haram. And fear Allah and know that"
