The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not right for a Muslim who has something to bequeath to spend even two nights without having his will written and kept with him."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ما حق امرئ مسلم، له شيء يوصي فيه، يبيت ليلتين إلا ووصيته عنده مكتوبة.
Malik narrated it in al-Wasiyyah (1) from Nafi, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he mentioned it. Bukhari narrated it in al-Wasaya (2738) via Malik, with the same chain. Muslim narrated it in al-Wasiyyah (1627) through several routes from Yahya bin Saeed Qattan, from Ubaydullah, who said, Nafi told me, with the same chain.
