A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I bought the share of such-and-such tribe and made this much profit on it."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you of something more profitable than that?"The man asked, "Is there such a thing?"He replied, "A man who learns ten verses."So the man went and learned ten verses, then came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him.
أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول الله، اشتريت مقسم بني فلان، فربحت فيه كذا وكذا، قال: ألا أنبئك بما هو أكثر منه ربحا؟ قال: وهل يوجد؟ قال: رجل تعلم عشر آيات، فذهب الرجل، فتعلم عشر آيات، فأتى النبي ﷺ فأخبره.

Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir (8/311) and al-Awsat (2893), and Hakim (1/556), both of them through routes from Mutamir bin Sulayman, who said, I heard my father narrating from Qatada, from Salim bin Abu Jaad, from Abu Umama, and he related it. Its chain is sahih.Haythami said in al-Majmu (7/165), "Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir and al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."In similar meaning is what was narrated from Ali bin Abu Talib, who said, The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best among you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it."Tirmidhi narrated it (2909), and Abdullah bin Ahmad in his additions to the Musnad (1318), both of them through the route of Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq, from Numan bin Saad, from Ali bin Abu Talib, and he related it.Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq is Ibn Harith al-Wasiti. Ibn Main declared him daif, and Ahmad said, He is nothing, his hadith is objectionable (munkar al-hadith). Numan bin Saad is unknown (majhul), no one narrated from him except Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq, and no one deemed him reliable except Ibn Hibban, who mentioned him in his book of reliable narrators (Thiqat).
