The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Truffles are from the manna, and their juice is a cure for the eye. The Ajwa date is from Paradise, and it is a cure for poison."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الكمأة من المن، وماؤها شفاء للعين، والعجوة من الجنة، وهي شفاء من السم.
Ibn Majah (3453) and Ahmad (11453) both narrated it through the route of Asbat bin Muhammad, who said, Amash narrated to us, from Jafar bin Iyas, from Shahr bin Hawshab, from Abu Saeed and Jabir, and they related it. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Shahr bin Hawshab, and there is no obstacle to his having heard it from Abu Saeed and Jabir just as he heard it from Abu Hurairah. Both routes are preserved.Ibn Majah (3453) also narrated it by another route, from Saeed bin Maslama bin Hisham, from Amash, from Jafar bin Iyas, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Saeed Khudri alone, from the Prophet ﷺ, with the same wording.
