The Messenger of Allah used to say, "O Allah, grant me victory over whoever transgresses against me, let me see vengeance taken upon whoever wrongs me, give me well-being in my body, let me enjoy my hearing and my sight for as long as You keep me alive, and make them my inheritors."
أن رسول الله كان يقول: اللهم انصرني على من بغى علي، وأرني ثأري ممن ظلمني، وعافني في جسدي، ومتعني بسمعي وبصري ما أبقيتني، واجعلهما الوارث مني.

Tabarani related it in al-Dua (1448) from Muhammad bin Abdus bin Kamil, who said, Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahim Abu Yahya told us, who said, Abu Zayd Harawi told us, who said, Ali bin Mubarak told us, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir, from Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Thawban, from Saad bin Zurara, who said, then he related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.Saad bin Zurara Ansari was a companion. Abu Hatim, Ibn Shahin, and others affirmed his companionship, and Ibn Hajar relied on this, mentioning him in the first section of al-Isaba. As for Ibn Abdul-Barr, he denied his companionship. But the one who affirms is given precedence over the one who denies, due to his greater knowledge and awareness. The correct view is that of the one who affirmed it.
