The Prophet ﷺ said, "I seek refuge in You from a soul that is never satisfied, and I seek refuge in You from a prayer that brings no benefit, and I seek refuge in You from a supplication that is not heard, and I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not feel humility."
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: إني أعوذ بك من نفس لا تشبع، وأعوذ بك من صلاة لا تنفع، وأعوذ بك من دعاء لا يسمع، وأعوذ بك من قلب لا يخشع.
Abu Dawud (1549) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (1015) and Diya in al-Mukhtarah (6/156) graded it sahih, all of them through routes from Mutamir bin Sulayman, from his father, from Anas, who mentioned it. The wording is that of Ibn Hibban and Diya, while Abu Dawud mentioned only part of it. Its isnad is sahih.
