The Prophet ﷺ used to make these supplications, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not feel humility, a supplication that is not heard, and a soul that is never satisfied." Then he would say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from these four."
أن النبي ﷺ كان يدعو بهذه الدعوات: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من علم لا ينفع، وقلب لا يخشع، ودعاء لا يسمع، ونفس لا تشبع ثم يقول: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من هؤلاء الأربع.
Nasai (5470), Ahmad (14023) and Hakim, who graded it sahih (1/104), all narrated it through the route of Khalaf bin Khalifa, from Hafs the nephew of Anas, from Anas, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Khalaf bin Khalifa and Hafs the nephew of Anas.
