Ibn Sunni narrated it in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla (352), and Bayhaqi in Daawat (266), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (974), and Diya in Mukhtarah (5/62-63), all of them through chains going back to Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Anas, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is sahih. It has been narrated from Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, as a mursal narration, but the connected version is more sahih, because those who connected it are more numerous. Ibn Hajar also graded it sahih in Futuhat Rabbaniya (4/25).
