Abdullah bin Sarjas reported,

He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate with him, and I said, 'May Allah forgive you, Messenger of Allah.' He replied, 'And you as well.'"I asked Abdullah, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seek forgiveness for you?"He answered, "Yes, and for all of you." Then he recited this verse, "So know that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows your movements and your resting place" [Muhammad 47:19].Then I circled around until I stood behind him, and I looked at the seal of prophethood.
