The Prophet ﷺ, when congratulating a person on marriage, would say, "May Allah bless you, may He shower His blessings upon you, and may He join you both in goodness."
أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا رفأ الإنسان- إذا تزوج- قال بارك الله لك، وبارك عليك، وجمع بينكما في خير.
Reported by Abu Dawud (2130), Tirmidhi (1091), Ibn Majah (1905), Ahmad (8956), Darimi (2220), Ibn Hibban (4052), and Hakim (2/183), all of them from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, from Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, for his hadith is hasan. His statement, "rafaa," with the faa doubled, means here.
