Ayesha reported, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say in one of his prayers, 'O Allah, call me to an easy account.' When he finished, I asked, 'Prophet of Allah, what is an easy account?'He replied, 'It is that He looks at his record and overlooks his sins. Whoever is questioned closely in the reckoning that day, Ayesha, is doomed. Everything that befalls a believer, Allah expiates his sins through it, even a thorn that pricks him.'"
Ahmad narrated it (24215), and Ibn Khuzayma (849) and Hakim (1/255, 57) graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Ismail, who said, "Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated to us, he said, 'Abdul-Wahid bin Hamza bin Abdullah bin Zubayr narrated to me, from Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr, from Ayesha,'" and he related the hadith. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq.
