A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about coitus interruptus. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Even if you were to pour the fluid from which a child is formed onto a Sakhr, Allah would bring forth from it" — or, "would bring forth from it a child" — the doubt is from the narrator — "and Allah will surely create a soul that He has decreed to create."
جاء رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ، وسأل عن العزل. فقال رسول الله ﷺ: لو أن الماء الذي يكون منه الولد أهرقته على صخرة لأخرج الله منها- أو يخرج منها ولدا- الشك منه- وليخلقن الله نفسا هو خالقها.
Imam Ahmad (12420) reported it from Abu Asim, who said, Abu Amr Mubarak the Weaver, grandfather of the son of Abbad bin Kathir, told us, saying, I asked Thumama bin Abdullah bin Anas about withdrawal (azl), and he said, I heard Anas bin Malik say (then he mentioned it). Bazzar (2163), Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (366), and Diya in Mukhtarah (1819, 1821) all reported it through this same route.Haythami said in al-Majma (4/196), "Ahmad and Bazzar reported it, and their isnad is hasan."I say, its isnad is hasan because of Abu Amr Mubarak the Weaver, who is among the men listed in Tajil (1003). Ibn Abu Hatim mentioned him and said, "A Basran who lived near Makkah" meaning that he was known to him, and he did not mention any criticism of him. Abu Asim and Aqdi both narrated from him, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among al-Thiqat (the trustworthy narrators).
