I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Yemen will be conquered, and a people will come urging their families and followers to migrate there, taking them along, but Madinah would be better for them if only they knew. Then Sham will be conquered, and a people will come urging their families and followers to migrate there, taking them along, but Madinah would be better for them if only they knew. Then Iraq will be conquered, and a people will come urging their families and followers to migrate there, taking them along, but Madinah would be better for them if only they knew."
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of Madinah (1875), and Muslim in Hajj (1388: 497), both through the route of Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Abdullah bin Zubayr, from Sufyan bin Abu Zuhayr, who said, and then he mentioned it.
