I entered al-Aswaf and flushed out, though al-Qawariri once said, caught, two ringdove chicks. Their mother was hovering and fluttering over them, and I was about to take them when Abu Hasan came upon me. He pulled out a stick and struck me with it. A woman of ours named Maryam said to me, "His arm must have suffered from how hard he broke that stick on you."He said to me, "Did you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared sacred what lies between the two lava tracts of Madinah?"
دخلت الأسواف، قال: فأثرت- وقال القواريري مرة فأخذت- دبسيين، قال: وأمهما ترشرش عليهما، وأنا أريد أن آخذهما، قال: فدخل علي أبو حسن، فنزع متيخة، قال: فضربني بها، فقالت لي امرأة منا، يقال لها مريم: لقد تعست من عضده؛ من تكسير المتيخة، قال: فقال لي ألم تعلم أن رسول الله ﷺ حرم ما بين لابتي المدينة!
Abdullah bin Ahmad narrated it in his additions to his father's Musnad (16711), from Ubaydullah bin Umar (that is, Qawariri), who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi told us, Amr bin Yahya said, he told me on the authority of Yahya bin Amara, from his grandfather Abu Hasan, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Darawardi, for his hadith is hasan.The grandfather of Yahya bin Amara is Abu Hasan Ansari Mazini Madani, well known by his kunya. His actual name was Tamim bin Amr, though it is also said to be Ibn Abd Amr, and also said to be Ibn Abd Qays bin Makhrama bin Harith bin Thalaba bin Mazin. Ibn Sakan said, he was present at Badr and had companionship with the Prophet. Dhahabi said, he lived on until the time of Ali bin Abu Talib.His saying, "dubsiyyayn" (two dubsi birds), the dubsi is a small bird, and dusky color (dubsa) is a shade between black and red.His saying, "tarshrash," is from rashrasha, which means circling around someone one fears.His saying, "taasat," means her upper arm grew tired.His saying, "al-matikha," means a palm branch.
