The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, Ibrahim was Your intimate friend and Your prophet, and You declared Makkah sacred through the tongue of Ibrahim. O Allah, I am Your servant and Your prophet, and I declare sacred what lies between its two lava fields."Abu Marwan said, "Its two lava fields are the two volcanic tracts of Madinah."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: اللهم إن إبراهيم خليلك ونبيك، وإنك حرمت مكة على لسان إبراهيم، اللهم وأنا عبدك ونبيك، وإني أحرم ما بين لابتيها. قال أبو مروان: لابتيها حرتي المدينة.
Ibn Majah (3113) narrated it from Abu Marwan Muhammad bin Uthman Uthmani, who said, Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Hazim narrated to us, from Ala bin Abdul-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Uthman Uthmani. Abu Hatim graded him trustworthy, and Bukhari said, "Truthful." Busiri also graded it hasan.
