Tirmidhi (4942) narrated it - and the wording is his - and Ahmad (14702), both through the route of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, who said, then he related it.Ahmad paired Abdul-Rahman bin Sabit, who is Jumahi, a trustworthy narrator, along with Abu Zubayr. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym, for his hadith is hasan.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith."
