The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Aslam, Ghifar, and a portion of Mazina and Juhayna," or "a portion of Juhayna and Mazina, are better in the sight of Allah," — the narrator said, I think he said — "on the Day of Resurrection than Asad, Ghatafan, Hawazin, and Tamim."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الأسلم وغفار، وشيء من مزينة، وجهينة، أو شيء من جهينة، ومزينة خير عند الله- قال: أحسبه قال:- يوم القيامة من أسد، وغطفان، وهوازن، وتميم.
Muslim narrated it in the Chapters on the Virtues of the Companions (2525-192) through several routes from Ismail, who is Ibn Ulaya, [who said], our teacher Ayub narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah who said, and then he mentioned it.Bukhari narrated it in the Chapters on Virtues (3523) from Sulayman bin Harb, [who said], Hammad narrated to us, from Ayub, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah who said, he said, "He accepted Islam..." and then he mentioned it.As for Muhammad's statement, who is Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah, who said, "he said," the second "he said" has its subject omitted, and that subject is the Prophet ﷺ. This is how Muhammad bin Sirin used to phrase things. Whoever is not aware of his method might assume the narration is stopped (mawquf) at the companion. The Khatib pointed this out, and Ibn Salah followed him in this. The Hafiz mentioned it in Fath al-Bari (6/545).
