Thabit bin Qays gave a speech upon the arrival of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "We will defend you from what we defend ourselves and our children from. So what will we receive, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Paradise."They said, "We are content."
أن ثابت بن قيس خطب مقدم رسول الله ﷺ فقال: إنا نمنعك مما نمنع منه أنفسنا وأولادنا، فما لنا يا رسول الله؟ قال: لكم الجنة قالوا: رضينا.

Nasai narrated it in Kubra (8171), Bazzar (6564), and Abu Yaala (3772), and Hakim declared it sahih (3/234), as did Diya in Mukhtarah (1962, 1963), all of them through routes going back to Humayd, from Anas, who said, and then he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Hakim said, sahih according to the standard of the two Shaykhs. Haythami mentioned it in Majma (6/48) and said, Abu Yaala narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
