The Prophet ﷺ saw a group of children and women coming back from a wedding. He stood up straight and said, "O Allah, you are among the most beloved people to me. O Allah, you are among the most beloved people to me," meaning the Ansar.
أن النبي ﷺ رأى صبيانا، ونساء، مقبلين من عرس. فقام نبي ﷺ ممثلا، فقال: اللهم أنتم من أحب الناس إلي، اللهم أنتم من أحب الناس إلي يعني الأنصار.
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of the Ansar (3785), and Muslim in the Virtues of the Companions (2508), both through Abdul-Aziz, who is Ibn Suhayb, from Anas, who related it. The wording given is Muslim's, and Bukhari's wording is similar, with an addition at the end after his saying, "O Allah, you are among the people most beloved to me," namely, "He said it three times."
