The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for forgiveness for the Ansar. The narrator said, "I believe he also said, 'And for the children of the Ansar, and for the freed slaves of the Ansar,' and I have no doubt about that."
أن رسول الله ﷺ استغفر للأنصار، قال: وأحسبه قال: ولذراري الأنصار، ولموالي الأنصار لا أشك فيه.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2507), from Abu Maen Raqashi, who said, Umar bin Yunus narrated to us, who said, Ikrima (that is, Ibn Ammar) narrated to us, who said, Ishaq (that is, the son of Abdullah bin Abu Talha) narrated to us, that Anas told him, and he mentioned it.
