A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with her young child. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke with her and said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, you are the most beloved of people to me." He said it twice.
جاءت امرأة إلى رسول الله ﷺ ومعها صبي لها، فكلمها رسول الله ﷺ فقال: والذي نفسي بيده إنكم أحب الناس إلي. مرتين.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Virtues of the Ansar" (3786), and Muslim narrated it in "The Virtues of the Companions" (2509), both of them through the route of Shubah, who said, Hisham bin Zayd told me, saying, I heard Anas bin Malik say, then he related it. This is the wording of Bukhari, and the wording of Muslim is similar to it, except that it has "three times" instead of "twice."
