Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, fell gravely ill in Makkah, and none of her nephews were with her. She said, "Take me out of Makkah, for I will not die here. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me that I would not die in Makkah."So they carried her until they brought her to Sarif, to the tree beneath which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had consummated his marriage with her, at the place where the dome now stands. There she died. When we placed her in the grave niche, I took my cloak and laid it under her cheek inside the niche, but Ibn Abbas took it and threw it aside.

Abu Yaala (7110) narrated it from Abu Khaythama, who said, Affan told us, Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad told us, Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Asam told us, from Yazid Asam, who said, then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Asam, for his hadith is hasan. Haythami mentioned it in al-Majma (9/249) and said, "Abu Yaala narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
