Adi bin Hatim reported,

Adi reported, "While I was with the Prophet ﷺ, a man came to him and complained of poverty. Then another man came and complained of highway robbery.The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Adi, have you ever seen Hirah?'I said, 'I have not seen it, but I have been told about it.'He said, 'If you live long enough, you will surely see a woman traveling alone from Hirah until she circumambulates the Kaabah, fearing none but Allah.'"Adi continued, "I said to myself, 'But what about the bandits of Tayy who have spread terror throughout the land?'The Prophet ﷺ went on, 'And if you live long enough, the treasures of Kisra will surely be conquered.'I asked, 'Kisra bin Hurmuz?'He replied, 'Kisra bin Hurmuz. And if you live long enough, you will see a man come out with his hands full of gold or silver, seeking someone to accept it from him, but he will find no one to take it.And one of you will surely meet Allah on the Day he meets Him, with no interpreter between them to translate for him. Allah will say, "Did I not send a messenger to you who conveyed the message to you?" The man will reply, "Yes." Allah will say, "Did I not give you wealth and children and grant you favor?" He will reply, "Yes." Then he will look to his right and see nothing but Hellfire, and he will look to his left and see nothing but Hellfire.'"Adi said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'Guard yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date. Whoever cannot find half a date, then with a kind word.'"Adi said, "I have seen the woman traveling from Hirah until she circumambulates the Kaabah, fearing none but Allah, and I was among those who conquered the treasures of Kisra bin Hurmuz. And if you live long enough, you will surely see what the Prophet Abu Qasim ﷺ said, that a man will come out with his hands full."

عن عدي بن حاتم قال

بينا أنا عند النبي ﷺ إذ أتاه رجل فشكا إليه الفاقة، ثم أتها آخر فشكا قطع السبيل، فقال: يا عدي، هل رأيت الحيرة؟ قلت: لم أرها، وقد أنبئت عنها، قال: فإن طالت بك الحياة، لترين الظعينة ترتحل من الحيرة، حتى تطوف بالكعبة لا تخاف من أحد إلا الله- قلت فيما بيني وبين نفسي: فأين دعار طيء الذين قد سعروا في البلاد؟- ولئن طالت بك حياة لتفتحن كنوز كسرى. قلت: كسري بن هرمز؟ قال: كسري بن هرمز، ولئن طالت بك حياة، لترين الرجل يخرج ملء كفه من ذهب أو فضة يطلب من يقبله منه فلا يجد أحد يقبله منه، وليلقين الله أحدكم يوم يلقاه، وليس بينه وبينه ترجمان يترجم له، فيقولن: ألم أبعث إليك رسولا فيبلغك؟ فيقول: بلى، فيقول: ألم أعطك مالا وولدا وأفضل عليك؟ فيقول: بلى، فينظر عن يمينه فلا يرى إلا جهنم، وبنظر عن يساره فلا يرى إلا جهنم. قال عدي: سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة فمن لم يجد شق تمرة فبكلمة طيبة قال عدي: فرأيت الظعينة ترتحل من الحيرة حتى تطوف بالكعبة لا تخاف إلا الله، وكنت فيمن افتتح كنوز كسري بن هرمز، ولئن طالت بكم الحياة، لترون ما قال النبي أبو القاسم ﷺ: يخرج ملء كفه.
