Hassan bin Thabit al-Ansari was heard calling upon Abu Hurairah to bear witness, saying, "I adjure you by Allah, did you hear the Prophet ﷺ say, 'Hassan, respond on behalf of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. O Allah, support him with the Holy Spirit'?"Abu Hurairah replied, "Yes."
سمع حسان بن ثابت الأنصاري يستشهد أبا هريرة: أنشدك الله، هل سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: يا حسان، أجب عن رسول الله ﷺ، اللهم أيده بروح القدس قال أبو هريرة: نعم.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Prayer (453), and Muslim in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions (2485-152), both of them through the route of Abu Yaman Hakam bin Nafi, who said, "Shuayb informed us, from Zuhri, who said, 'Abu Salama informed me,'" and he mentioned it.
