The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I slept and saw myself in Paradise. I heard the voice of a reciter reciting, so I asked, 'Who is this?'They replied, 'This is Haritha bin Numan.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Such is righteousness, such is righteousness." He was the most devoted of people to his mother.
قال رسول الله ﷺ: نمت، فرأيتني في الجنة، فسمعت صوت قارئ يقرأ، فقلت: من هذا؟ فقالوا: هذا حارثة بن النعمان فقال رسول الله ﷺ: كذلك البر، كذلك البر، وكان أبر الناس بأمه.
Ahmad narrated it (24080, 25182), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (7014, 7015), as did Hakim (3/208), all of them through the route of Mamar and Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Zuhri, from Amra, from Ayesha, and she related it. Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Hajar also graded it sahih in Al-Isabah (1542), in the biography of Haritha bin Numan.
